Emu Farmers, Assemble! It’s Time for Emu-Con 2026!

Get your capes ready! The American Emu Association is thrilled to announce our 2026 Convention, coming to the beautiful Montgomery Bell State Park in Tennessee this September 28-29.

This year, we’re embracing our inner superheroes with a brand new theme: Emu-Con! Think the excitement and community of a Comic-Con, but dedicated to the real heroes of alternative agriculture—our emus and the farmers who raise them.

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran looking to level up your operation, or a new initiate just discovering your powers in the industry, Emu-Con ‘26 is the place to be.

Unmasking the Secrets of Success On September 29th, we will gather at our headquarters for a day packed with critical intel. We’ve assembled a league of extraordinary speakers to tackle the industry’s biggest challenges:

  • The Origin Story: Sabra will guide new farmers through the inevitable struggles and processes of starting out.
  • Market Domination: Ngon will share strategies on sales and distribution.
  • Niche Powers: Jake will discuss the Alpha-Gal connection, a vital and growing market for emu products.
  • The Elixir: LB Processors will dive deep into the world of Emu Oil.
  • More TBA

The day includes a provided lunch spread to keep your energy up, and culminates in an exclusive Emu Dinner at 6:30 PM—a true taste of the superfood we produce.

Bonus Mission: The Behind-the-Scenes Tours For those seeking advanced knowledge, we are offering a separate, ticketed “pre-con” tour day on September 28th (plan to arrive the night of the 27th).

Join the convoy as we leave the hotel at 9 AM sharp for an exclusive look at the processing side of the industry. We will visit Misty Lea Farm Poultry Processing in Kentucky (box lunch included!). This is a rare opportunity to see the logistics that power our industry.

The official convention kicks off that evening at 6 PM with our Welcome Social.

Don’t wait for a signal in the sky. Register today and join the alliance at Emu-Con 2026!
