A. VOTING MEMBERSHIP Dues Initial dues to join / Annual renewal dues
U.S. Active Member: A person who is actively raising, producing and/or selling the emu or emu products. This includes a copy of the AEA Emu Primer when application is accepted. $125/$100.00
B. NON-VOTING MEMBERSHIP:
Contributing Member: Persons, businesses, corporations, partnerships, or those entities interested in the emu industry or who are only applying for approval to use the AEA Trademark Logos. This includes a copy of the AEA Emu Primer when application is accepted. $100.00/$80.00
Emu Enthusiast: An emu owner or those have an interest in learning more about emus. This includes a copy of the AEA Emu Primer when application is accepted. $80.00/$60.00
Youth and Student Member: An individual under the age of 18 years or a full-time student. $35.00/$25.00
International Member: A non-US person or family who is active or planning to be active in raising, producing and/or selling the emu or emu products. $400.00/400.00 (NOTE - no books newsletters or papers are mailed to International Members, The only correspondence is in emails. Int’l Members will NOT receive an Emu Primer when they join.)
Accordingly, the Association expects each member to abide by the following AEA Code of Conduct:
- To be familiar with the purpose and objectives of the Association and to promote its aim actively.
- To present conduct that in all times reflects dignity and respect for the Association and other members.
- To keep inviolate any confidence that may be entrusted to said member.
- To refuse participation in questionable enterprises and to refuse to engage in any business that is contrary to law or public welfare.
- To guard against unwanted insinuations that reflect upon the character or integrity of others members, officers or staff of this Association.
- By submission of this application, I agree to abide by the above Code of Conduct.

- Application reviewed
- Application sent to Board of Directors for review
- An email will be sent with approval status. If approved the email will contain instructions for website login.

The American Emu Association has state and regional affiliates to support members on a local level. Your AEA membership will also give you membership in your affiliate organization. If you do not have a affiliate organization in your area you will be deemed a member at large. Your AEA and Affiliate membership year is effective on the date of receipt of your application and runs until the end of that month the following year. All fees are quoted in US Dollars. The AEA reserves the right to approve or refuse membership in the Association. Questions?
