The American Emu Association has state and regional affiliates to support members on a local level. Your AEA and Affiliate membership year is effective on the date of receipt of your application and runs until the end of that month the following year. All fees are quoted in US Dollars.

AEA Membership - $ 100.00
Membership for new members, or those renewing after their membership expired. Membership is for one year.

Acceptance of each membership application is reviewed and approved by the American Emu Association Board of Directors, and each applicant will be notifed of that decision.

Renewing Membership or Spouse Member - $ 100.00
Late renewals will be treated as new member applications and new member processing fees will apply. Spouse of current member may join at this reduced rate. Lapsed members may also rejoin for this rate.

Renewal for three years - $ 275.00

Contributing Member - $ 75.00
New members may join as contributing members for up to 5 years. Contributing members are non-voting members and do not have access to member only information. They receive such benefits as discounts on conventions, ability to post to members only email list and access to AEA consulting vet. Please contact the AEA office for further details.

Junior Membership - $ 25.00
Must be US Citizen 18 years or younger and sponsored by an adult AEA member.

International Membership - $ 350.00
International Membership for new members. International membership is for one year.

Renewing International Membership - $ 150.00
Renewing an existing International Membership. The renewed membership will last one year.

Listing in Breeder Directory - $ 50.00
Listing in Breeder Directory on the AEA Website and listed in mailed literature. Must be an AEA member, only available concurrent with membership year. Partial years will be prorated to expire at the same time as the AEA membership.

Certified Business Membership (CBM)
$350.00 initial membership fee to join the program Plus $50.00 per month.

CBM Qualifications:
An emu oil analytic report will be required to be on file with the AEA, to ensure that all oil used in products meet the AEA Trade Rules.
Proof of product liability insurance.
A credit card or debit card number will be on file with the AEA, and the monthly amount will be withdrawn every month at the same time OR payment of the annual amount in full during the annual enrollment period.
Your company contact must be a current member of the AEA.

CBM Benefits:
Your company banner name will appear in rotation on the AEA website.
Your company name will appear on an insert with every brochure the AEA sends out from responses that are received from any PR that the AEA provides.
Your website can be linked TO the AEA website and will be linked FROM the AEA web site.
Anyone who calls for product information will be sent a brochure with the insert listing your company name and/or the list will be sent electronically to anyone seeking information via electronic mail.
