From the very beginning of the emu farming industry in the United States, its most important source of information has been the 2-volume Emu Farmer’s Handbook series. These comprehensive, beautifully illustrated hard cover textbooks, covering all practical details of emu husbandry, were first published in 1992 (Volume 1) and 1998 (Volume 2).
Although they have been out of print for several years, both volumes are being reprinted this year (2023) as soft-cover editions, and will soon be available for purchase. Details and updates will be provided on the AEA website.
In the meantime, the publisher is offering, in collaboration with the AEA, the last 100 original hard cover copies of The Emu Farmer’s Handbook.
