Hopkins to discuss scientific basis of emu oil
San Angelo, Texas--- Consulting Pharmacist and skin care specialist, Leigh Hopkins, Pharm.D, RPH will be a guest speaker at The 2006 Emu Oil Seminar for Medical Professionals on July 15. The seminar is being held in conjunction with the American Emu Association National Convention, held this year at the Madison West-Marriott Hotel in Middleton, Wisconsin. Area medical professionals are invited to attend the event which takes place from 1 to 5 PM.
"By combining the proper combination of active lipids and key ingredients such as essential fatty acids, vitamins, botanical extracts, antioxidants and peptides, we can activate the cellular mechanisms responsible for keeping skin healthy and normal," said Hopkins. Dr. Hopkins is a Consulting Pharmacist and Clinical Professor of Pharmacy. He has worked on several emu oil studies and in the formulations of emu oil based products. He has degrees in biochemistry as well as a doctorate in pharmacy. Dr. Hopkins will be speaking on The Scientific Basis of Emu Oil.
